Who I Work With
I work with middle-income people who want to get control of their financial life.
My clients include teachers, state employees, creative arts professionals, retired people, and business owners. Although my clientele is wide-ranging they all share two qualities: they need to work for a living and they need practical financial advice.
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
My company has a retirement program but I don’t understand it. I must choose from a long list of investment options that confuse me. Plus I have no idea of how much I should be saving each month.
How should I save for college? Some people say I should put money into an education savings program (Which program?), others say I should rely on education tax credits (Which credits?). What is right for me?
I’m pretty sure I’m doing OK but I need a second opinion from a professional. This is important stuff and pretty sure is not good enough. I need an unbiased perspective but if I go to a banker or stockbroker, I’ll only get a sales pitch.
I love being a creative artist but my income is irregular.
I never know exactly how much I will earn or when the money will be there. I need to organize the business side of my art so I can make long-range plans to remain a professional artist.
